On Being Attentive to Guests

Iíve reminded you so often to pay special attention to newcomers. But, someone new came, and you donít even know when he left. There are so many of you here, yet nobody knows when that guest left. That just goes to show that you have skill: Youíve perfected the samadhi of Itís-Not-My-Business.
The problem with samadhi is that you quickly come out of it when itís time to eat. And when itís time to sleep, you seem to be in limboóhaving neither gotten back into that samŃdhi nor gotten completely out of it either.
